AMIN TANNERY LIMITED, the history started from 9th April 1946 which earmarked the dawn of Indian Leather Industry, it was the day when a person meager in resources but high in ambition established a small tannery in the north city of Kanpur, With his visionary skills & farsightedness, this austere person understood the winds of change and opted for a new venture, i.e., from family business to Trading to Manufacturing.
Today all SUPER GROUPS Companies in Kanpur & Unnao, owe their entire success achieved over the last 72 years to his noble soul. Mr.Choudhry Ehsan Kareem who took the reigns of this after the sudden demise of his father in 1955 & ran till its own death in 1995.
This two illustrious gentlemen were the grandfather & father, respectively the Managing Director of the Company – VEQARUL AMIN. He joined the family business in 1982 as an apprentice and went to Nene College, Northampton, England for a course in Leather Technology. His son Zakiul Amin, also joined the business in 2011 after competing his graduation in civil engineering from University of Wales, Swansea, UK.
